Yeah I agree 100%.

I listen to too much music to buy. I can't see myself spending thousands when I can get it for free anyways.

Ah, how I love spotify. I'll buy the occasional smallish band's album if it isn't on there though.

Seriously? In terms of profit, one LP sold is the equivalent of 312,000 Pandora plays. If it helps you sleep at night

I've acquired 200 CDs over the years, and I've illegally downloaded many, many more than that. I only really care about keeping my local independent record store afloat, though the lure of Amazon's second hand bit is strong.

It's quite an interesting interview with a member of a great band. It's a great service but you may as well be pirating.

I have been for a while now that I have a job, and disposable income.

I mostly buy vinyl now. The occasional digital download as well. I don't see a point to buying cds anymore. I rip them to my computer, put them on my iPod, and then rarely use them again. I might as well just get them digitally from the start. I can always burn a copy if I want a physical copy.

I also get a lot of free downloads from sites like Bandcamp.

This mostly. I have bought a few CDs from bands who haven't released anything on vinyl yet (Cormorant is a big one, put Dwellings on vinyl already damnit) but mostly if I am going to pay for music I'm getting vinyl.

I don't pay for downloads unless they are on Bandcamp though.

Ah, Thrash, don't ever stop being an asshole.
