It's kinda hard to believe
Summer's almost over Trees all losing their leaves Yet I'm still alone girl Heart grows so cold in autumn Feeling heavy in my chest It's weighing down my soul Heart grows lonely in autumn Feeling empty in my chest Will there always be this hole? Not looking forward to December Air so cold our lips turn blue I'll see you starting to shiver And just wanna wrap my arms around you Heart grows so cold in autumn Feeling heavy in my chest It's weighing down my soul Heart grows lonely in autumn Feeling empty in my chest Will there always be this hole? Heart grows angry in autumn God knows I tried my best So why am I still alone? Will I always be alone? Kinda hard to believe Summer's almost over |

I love the way this is written! The title immediately drew me in and I like the way there is emotion, but it is not overpowering. Great inspiration

I was concerned it was too...obvious and overpowering. I've been writing it as an acoustic song, in the style of the White Stripes' "We're Going To Be Friends" |
