NAD! Krank Rev+ 120
Finally got around to getting a new head, and decided on the Krank Rev+ 120 Watt. Been a fan of Krank for a while and pretty happy to finally get a Rev+.



Got it for $600 used at GC, foot switch included.

You can get Kranks really cheap used. I had the Rev series 1 and I really did not like it that much. I ended up returning it with in 1 week. It just did not do it for me

I have heard the Rev 1+ is a much better amp, but I have yet to try the + model.

I had the original Krankenstein and it was a pain to dial in but once you get the hang of it, it was quite rewarding. $650 shipped for this head was too much of a deal for me to pass up. I'll probably get a Nineteen80 Jr. down the road.

The Nineteen80 is a beast. I bought one a few months ago, but it had some internal problems and went back (bought it for $600 on GC used site so no getting another one at that price), I think it is probably the best Krank currently produced. The Chadwick is also a really nice amp.

If you like Kranks, you should check out Tony Kranks new company it is called Stiff amplification he has his version of the revolution and the 1980 (called the 90AD ) as well as a few others and he will build them to a few diff power options (100/50/20)

The Stiff amps seem decent, but I'm going to take a wait and see approach on them.

As for the Krank, I'll post some more pictures here shortly. Hopefully with better lighting as I'm still on an iPhone 3GS with no flash.
