Its a million times easier to sing the lyrics when someone else who actually knows them is singing. Like I can sing along with pretty much every single RHCP song, but theres only 3 or 4 that I could do if it was just me singing, and thats because I've learned to play those songs and sing them. Also a lot of people pretend. I went to a Relient K concert and was singing the whole time, but theres only 1 album and a couple other songs that I actually know any of the words to. If you just sing the notes and try to get the right vowel sounds no one around you will know.

if i dig an album and listen to it a lot i usually end up learning every word one way or another.


lol when i saw death grips, i sang along to like ¼ of the lyrics and just shouted gibberish the rest of the time. that's what everyone was doing though. :,3
