I recently had to rearrange my router set-up, as my Internet was cutting out regularly. We resolved the issue by removing the splitter and plugging the telephone directly into the phone output of the router. We also shortened the DSL cable and increased the length of the ethernet cable, something that was suggested by our provider. This, however, has caused some issues with my phone and PS3's wireless functionality. So to increase the wireless signal, I bought a pair of powerline adaptors, these cool gadgets that run Internet, though at around half the speed, through the wires of the house. I plugged the main adaptor into the router and into a wall socket, and then I plugged the wireless one in my bedroom, the dead area of the house, and plugged the PS3 in to it. I then connected my phone wirelessly to the adaptor and we were away. It's a little slower, but that's to be expected.

Those things are really cool. I used to get a load of interference in my room that made my Xbox unplayable, problem was immediately solved with those.

Anyone seen Les Mis? Saw it yesterday and was really impressed.

why not just use a wireless repeater/signal booster?

Weird.
I was in the mood for some Deep Purple.
So I went into my MP3 folders, opened up the Machine Head folder (Was looking for Pictures of home to be more specific), and all this while listening to SiriusXM Boneyard (Part of the satellite TV service.
And what comes on the TV but Lazy, from Deep Purple - Machine Head.
