I think the main wave of scenes died out about a year ago, emos haven't been a trend since about 2008. I guess you get 'alternative girls' sometimes.

All the scene kids I was friends with in high school are now "hipsters" or don't try to attach they're whole personality to some bullshit fad anymore. More the former than the latter.

I like scene kids better than hipsters.

At least scene kids mosh, the little that they can because they don't want to mess up their hair and they don't want their numerous piercings to get stuck on someone.

Compared to at shows hipsters just stand still shaking their hips back and forth slowly and nodding their heads slowly while giving a pissy look while wearing glasses too big for them.
