Hi,

two days ago, I posted the chords for the song High Hopes by Kodaline in a version that has the chords at the right times, correct lyrics, and the chords for the instrumental fills too. It is accurate and correctly formatted.

Sadly, it was rejected, and no explanation was given. Could you please review the decision / offer explanation?

my parkway drive-sleepwalker text tab was rejected today,none of the 8 versions come anywhere close to being accurate, it can be found in the queue section again. not sure how to post the link to it, this is the link i get when i click on it in the queue,if i did it wrong let me know,thank you

The chords that you've used in the song are pretty close to this one:

Hi emad,

in the tab you're referencing, the chords are often not at the correct times, some are even completely missing and the formatting could be better to allow easier singing/playing along for a "novice" tab.

The tab I have submitted is easier to read and play along, allows accurate transposing and has correct lyrics and all chords.
Considering how mine would still only be the second version of this tab, could you please reconsider?

Hey, I've had my tab rejected. Here's the info:

1. A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes
2. Disney
3. text chords

I don't have 3 contributions yet, so I can't go to the tab approval page to look at the comments or anything. I followed the format correctly, there are no other versions of this song from the original recording, and I did it by ear (i.e. not plagiarized). I can't think of why it might be rejected. Any help?

Good Morning and hello emad and other moderators who approve/reject TABs. I posted Slash - I Hold On in Chord format. There are 4 other versions on here, 3 are just wrong, one is close but not 'good enough' NONE are rated at 5 stars. Mine is not only accurate, it includes a simple TAB of the intro melodic hook and the chords under the solo. Please approve it this time or provide a good reason for rejecting this work.

They use the same chords as yours, how do you tell they're wrong.
It won't get accepted.

In the chorus, 3 of the versions use E minor instead of E major. Big difference, emad. In the only version that uses E major in the chorus, the solo isn't right. The same raised 7th degree alluding to A harmonic minor is used in the E/G# (Emajor in first inversion) between G major and A minor. Also, I included a TAB of the intro.

I found a song on here with a student yesterday that had 22 versions, 5 of which were rated 5 stars and all were similar. I will find it again and post the artist - title. We have multiple versions of Taylor Swift on here that are all similar as well. This is a great song and UG users deserve a proper transcription of it.

With so many posted tabs that are transcribed without thought as to the key (how many in the key of F major use A# instead of Bb?? ) it shouldn't be so difficult for those that submit accurate, well informed and detailed transcriptions to get them approved.

Version one: terrible. It's a list of chords and then the lyrics. it should NOT have been posted.
Version two: terrible. wrong lyrics all over the place and the guy even puts (?) after lines because he knows it's not the right words. Great for a joke song but not to learn
Version three: acceptable.. by your standards (close enough ) some wrong lyrics (it's hands of fate, not hands of faith) and this one shows the correct E major in the chorus but leaves out the F minor at the end of it and misses the C to G transition before verse 2 also his solo chords are wrong.
Version four: Back to Em instead of E major, no solo chords and not rated. 0 stars. Why was this one accepted if there was already 3 other versions??

Version 5 is waiting in queue. It is accurate, well formatted and the one that UG ers are gonna want to learn

I updated my transcription with the details of the pre-chorus, Dm Dsus Dm , F Fadd9 F and included a TAB guide. There is no way that this version should face the shame and despair of rejection
