Guitarists using same amp model?
Both me and the other guitarist in my band are looking at the Orange TH30. Would it sound shit if we both used the same amp model?

No.
If you want to make them sound distinct, have one eq'd with a little more low mids and one with high mids.

My friend and I both have a Mitsubishi Lancer, will they not go as fast because we both drive the same car?
No. You just won't be very distinct.

One of you has to work the darker tone and another one of you has to work the brighter tone. The same amp can work.

You would have to tailor the EQ slightly so that one has a more bassey & one more trebbly tone. But TBH it depends what guitar/pickups you are using and what you are playing.
