Just randomly singing songs wont do much for your voice if your technique is off. From personal experiance. You need to (as I always reccommend) see a vocal coach or ( if thats not an option for you..) get a singing program (i reccommend Singing Success but theres others, do some research). You will not improve much at all (probably not at all) without either two. You have good potential, but now its time to really train your voice the proper way and turn that potential into a reality.

Good luck.

Thanks, appreciate the criticism, next week I have 30 mins of private lesson, so yeah.
So in the meantime I just do some daily pitching exercises, can't go wrong with that right?

Well your edit sounds nice, but in your demo, your trying to sing too wide. Your voice is light so just singer higher in your mouth and don't go so wide/deep.

Cool man. Yeah, you cant go wrong with that for now, I think usually a vocal coach will give you some type of recording either on a cd or mp3 file, of exercises to work on. So be ready to schedule practice time.

Why don't we throw that question back at you.

When you listen to this, what do YOU hear that needs to be improved?

I thought it was pretty and nice for the style. Keep working at it.

So you mean, the first song I posted here? the Oasis cover? or the last one? the coldplay cover?

Yes, but I was confused since you said 'thought' so, I thought you meant the very first demo

Getting better. Low notes are nice. Reminds me of The Editors.
