So is $150 US a good price on an EQD Sea Machine? I'm thinking about upgrading my Small Clone...

Any thoughts? Thanks.

memory boy is pretty good for ambience and background echo. quite dark repeats.

i think we just about hit 17 degrees today, for about 20 mins. that's the first half-decent day we've had all year.

our average (high) hits 20C for like 10 days in the middle of july...

between about 15C and 20C is my ideal temperature. anything less and i'm complaining about the cold, anything more and I'm complaining about the heat. :hah

Thanks, Nakedintherain, I think I'll buy one and compare.

It was 23 here today. (East London)

We get mid to late 20s in July and August unless it's especially wet.

I dunno where you live but you need to move more south!

i'm in northern ireland.

moving south only does so much... it's a little better in the south and east, but it's still ireland (i.e. total shite).

and yeah i mean i know plenty of people complain about the weather in the south of england even, and while i'll admit that in the grand scheme of things it's still pretty much complete shite (compare it to the weather the aussies in here are talking about ), it's far better than ireland (and especially northern ireland), too.

I was in London in August last year for 3 days and it was crazy hot. up towards the 30's and humid as a mother ****er.

Worst part is london building are designed for the cold so when it is hot is is crazy hot. I was sweating like a beast in our hostel which had a window which opened about an inch and plus we were on the third floor.

Plus side, Fabrik was super fun becuase we got some of the best mdma ever. plus crazy french people tripping out was quite entertaining.

You put on a fan when it gets above 10C and you call us pussies? It has to get over the mid 30's here before I am thinking about a fan or the air con. So who's the pussy?

They were all whining about it being to cold.

I just don't do so well in warm/hot weather.

Everything's relative. Once you'd aclimatised to our weather you'd be the same.

Joe, do you mean Fabric, the club in Farringdon? I used to go there quite often. How it's still open is beyond me!

I saw Doctor Octagon there once.

It is the place with the speakers under the main dance floor. Ministry of sound sucked. so many europeans who dance way too close. I had more italian blokes touching me than girls were.

I saw public enemy in Ibiza. was god damn awesome.

If you lived in Darwin for a few years where every day is either 31 or 32 (all that changes is wet and dry), you'd think 20C was getting nippy. If it hit 17 you'd be lighting a fire.

Yeah that's Fabric. I wasn't sure because of the spelling. Not being a duck just wasn't sure if it was the same one.

one again false, we get plenty of days where it is 32C, 17C will never be cold to me. Our winters are mostly below 0C and our summers hit 36-37C with ease and that's also with 75-100% humidity

It almost got 20C here yesterday. I was walking around in shorts, no shirt. Anything above freezing and I'm happy, really...

24 years of this shit. No amount of acclimating will ever take that away.

yeah i've been in london and the south of england when it's been pretty hot (30+, 35 one day). it definitely never gets that hot here. our record is like 30C, and that's happened about once (i.e. on one day) in the last 100 years or something like that. I can probably count on the fingers of two hands the number of days it's been over 25C here since I've been alive.

It was actually pretty nice today 18C and sunny Until about 4pm, then it clouded over. Rain from tomorrow, and temperatures back down to like 11C for the next 10 days (as far ahead as I can get with the weather forecast).

Mother****er. I'm not even asking for that much. I'd take our average weather now (and that's saying something, our average weather is complete shite). We set the bar incredibly low with our usual average, and this past few years we aren't even getting anywhere near that. the average for this time of year here is supposed to be 16C FFS. And this is after the coldest march in 50 years (i.e. with temperatures that were worse than our usual january average), and a pretty craptacular april too. Spring's meant to start in March, and it's barely started now in May.

and that's after last spring/summer which was the worst on record (i wish that was exaggeration... it's not. it genuinely was the absolute worst on record. )

sorry for venting and yes i had my shorts on today (our back garden is a sun trap, which'd be nice, except it's also a wind tunnel, so it's either too hot or too cold ). I guess i'll put them away for another year
