The first solo is harder than it seems, the picking there requires some thought and if you're like me and have small fingers there is a stretch for the pinky there that may slow you down. Second solo is easier but it's faster.

yeah the little arpeggio sweep - thang that comes in the first solo is hard to nail PERFECTLY, cause (well at least i think) that's how everything we play should sound. not sloppy.

I am pretty good with the Rhythm. I need a good rundown of the distorded ending. All of it after the singing is done.

it's just really palm muting with the power chords in between and them there is the kinda weird riff b4 the solo...and well the solo kinda speaks for itself...it's fast...and long...even if u hav the speed, memoriznig it will be hard...dont give up though..u feel really good wen u can sit down and play the entire song note for note in your room to the sheer amazedment of your frens.lol.

The ending solo is long, however I find it ridiculously easy. As far as any of Kirk's solos go, they're all on the pentatonic scale so if you're looking to play a lot of his solos you might want to look into getting really good with pentatonics.

I agree with the post before me, PRACTICE THE MAJOR AND MINOR PENTATONIC SCALES.

Just make sure you have the classic "Metallica" distortion.. such a rough sound..

Its not a hard song dude...no offence or anything, and I don't think of myself as a good guitarist but its pretty easy

I dont think it is hard either. I learned most of it when i was 6 months in. I am about 2-3 years now. The thing is i am just trying to learn all the things i missed from before. Pickup parts i never learned, learning songs i never learned. You know what i mean. Filling in the blank spots. I play really fast, i can do all of the stuff metallica does, its easy 2 me. I just need suggestions on the songs because certain parts are kind of strange in them. That part right before the last solo is kind of strange. Is that like a scale or something?

Its a harmony between the 2 guitars (even 3 in the record i think), just get the Guitar Pro tab...its not a scale, its just a lick or a riff whatever

The interlude before the solo is form 1 diatonic. But that doesnt matter, all you need to do is practice it often and it will come to you.

The main solo is actually very easy, it just looks hard so I'll give that a shot if I were you.
