Little Bird

First attempt at writing anything that is happy, this is a fastish acoustic/soft rock kinda song, crit 4 crit

(1st verse)
The first time,
That I lay my eyes on you
It, caught my breath
I could not believe the view
you, hit me
like a screaming beam of light
I, felt till now,
I must have been living blind

(2nd verse)
Lets take a walk
Down the old beaten path
We'll, hold hands
And talk about this and that
I, don't need to
listen hard to what you say
Im, high here
Riding the crest of your wave

(chorus)
lost the in the haze where your smile can stop time
It's sinking in that we're here and your mine
You're the little bird that I had been waiting for
I always knew that there must be something more...

And that something was you
That something is you

(3rd verse)
Sit out late
So we can watch the sun rise
It, moves me
The way the sky reflects your eyes
And, your touch
The way you laugh it makes me smile
I, can't say
I've been to this place for a while

(chorus)
lost the in the haze where your smile can stop time
It sinks in that we're here and your mine
You're the little bird that I had been waiting for
I always knew that there must be something more...

And that something was you
That something is you
