Reason has by far the best digital and electric sounds out there. but it's missing Good guitar tone.

but Protool is great to uses and has excellent Amp SIM VST support for good guitar tones ....

( I'm a reason/Protools user ) I would say Protools,... BUT I must admit It's missing alot of good Reason like tones..... and I miss them directly ( maybe fixed with rewire ?.. ) .. but since Protool is not 64bit there are issues in memory limits since you force to keep everything 32bit ( 4 gig limit per app)

so for today 09/02/2013... with what I have read here..if it's true... ?.

I would say go with Ableton.

if it really is up to Reason level of digital tones and sound Go for that .

and then you can use VST plugins and go Hard in the style you need ( digital and guitars) you have chosen..

I may have just made a mistake to settle in Protools..... ?

So, why are we discussing a thread that's been dead for 2 weeks?
