Muting on bends
I seem to be having trouble muting on bends....everything is muted but if I'm bending ,say the 2nd string, the 4th string will sound....it's just a short tiny muted twack, like you would hear in a rake, just softer. It only happens on my neck pickup and generally only above the 12th fret...any tips?
also would this come through in a band setting? Thanks![]() |

Try muting the other strings with your playing hand

Your right hand should be muting the lower frequencies.
It doesn't require much pressure, just rest the right hand slightly on the strings you don't want to ring. |
