Took a couple so you could see the effect on this finish. In light it's very blue, but when it's not being directly lit it goes almost pure black. It's crazy.






Even the Tribute G&L's have some hot grain.

Starting the pickup hunt for this beast. The pups are a bit shrill at volume. Probably going to get something more even with a midrange boost. I'm thinking Lace Sensor Golds, Fender CS 54's, and Lollar Blondes.

I had them in my MIA Strat. I know they're 50's voiced, but man they hit that 70's sound so well. I'm leaning that way again, but I'm hearing way too many good things about the 54's and Blondes. Much youtubing is happening.
