It seems like a pretty safe bet.
Is the number of new tracks known yet?

Another new track, it's also up for preorder off of Dark Descent/Unspeakable Axe

Not living up to the debut yet, but I have faith in this band.

Hmm, so assuming the Metal Archives are correct as usual there will be eighteen tracks total. Apparently they are rerecording all ten from the EP and throwing them back in there. "Wrong Again" was rather lackluster. The vocals weren't as rapid fire. The lyrics weren't as witty or catchy. The music wasn't as original or intense. Not bad, just not great. Hopefully that's one of the weaker new tracks. At least we know 10/18 will be good; that's over half heh.

They're branching out; "Wrong Again" is more emotional than funny. It's not party thrash, it's like some of the stuff DRI did on 4ofakind.

I'm with Born Headless on this one. I don't think it matters what context you put it in.

I really wanna like this band, but yeah, they're just not that good. I don't hold any grief against Jeff Tandy, but it is somewhat concerning that he hypes up and speaks of this band as if it were elite when in reality his other project, Averse Sefira actually were elite; consequently, 2/3 of Birth AD = Averse Sefira, but I guess that just goes to show that the guitarist of that band was pretty much the mastermind behind their aspiration toward epic, atmospheric effect, so perhaps more ambitious music is simply beyond Tandy's ability to imagine or compose.

edit: just noticed the posts on the last page, vhat a tweest~! Good taste VG (I somewhat prefer Advent Parallax, though both albums possess rare grandeur).

Well Averse Sefira is dead, and what makes them feel that Birth AD is elite is probably their stance. Which is... well, elitist.
Also, I wasn't too big on Wrong Again or the new Kill Everybody.
This new one ain't bad though

So far, I still like the EP much more, but I'll still probably end up buying this at some point
