CW is a compilation of rejected tracks. It can't be "better" than Danger Days because it isn't even an album. The only argument I've seen for CW versus Danger Days is the latter "not being them", which is a completely bullshit argument since one could also propose that Three Cheers and TBP are "not them" - the first album was post hardcore, and nothing that followed resembled it at all. Danger Days is just as technically good and well produced as TBP, just as catchy as Three Cheers, and better covering the styles they work with than any of the other releases. Honestly, any album with "S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W" beats a half-assed compilation by default. |

It's all opinions man.
scarecrow is one of the weakest tracks on DD imo, next to Party Poison and Vampire Money. I rank the series.. Black Parade Three Cheers Conventional Weapons Danger Days Bullets But that's just my opinion.

To some degree, perhaps. Opinion is overrated; most music can be objectively graded as better than other stuff. "Vampire Money" is a weak track? wat I'm getting the impression you're just not into the genre. Granted, there's nothing wrong with that, but you can hardly give the record a fair listen when you don't like it to begin with. No one who hates pop is out there reviewing it, etc. But I can appreciate that. I'm with you on TBP, but Three Cheers didn't earn its reputation. I suppose I'd list it something like Black Parade Bullets Danger Days Three Cheers Conventional Weapons No need to whip out the italics. |

Srs Bsns.
There are just tracks I don't enjoy. I can listen to Black Parade and Three Cheers from start to finish but I can't quite get my head around Party Poison and Vampire Money from Danger Days. Fav to least favorite tracks from DD. Kids of Yesterday Summertime Bulletproof Heart Na Na Na Planetary Hope Save Yourself Destroya Sing Scarecrow Vampire Money Party Poison Just don't enjoy Vampire Money and Party Poison and most of the CW tracks would go above Kids of yesterday.

Fair enough. Good to see Planetary getting some love; the crowning achievement in UG Team review history was when they hated it based pretty much on it being different in style than most of the band's work up until then. Which...so was every album before. They started out as a post-hardcore band. Where were the fans bitching that Three Cheers was too mainstream/pop/whatever? Yet many said the same thing of Black Parade. I don't think anyone likes new things. At first, I was going to dispute the "most of CW" point, but definitely Burn Bright, all of Number Three, Boy Division, and Kiss the Ring, which are all great. Burn Bright and TLBYE especially are among the band's absolute best. The only way they could've gone out on a stronger note is if Famous Last Words hadn't already been used. I'd put Party Poison at about the same place. It seems like that's one of the ones generally beloved by fans, but I've always found it pretty much standard. Great ending, though. Hmm. Scarecrow Summertime Kids Na Na Na Vamp Money Bulletproof Heart Only Hope Save Yourself Planetary Party Poison Destroya Sing I had to run to the Wiki page to check something, and it's exploded in the last month or so. Used to be brief history and a tracklist, but now it's the entire history of the record. S: It's nearly as long as the band's article. |

I just noticed rockfan7 did this, I really like it. I forgot Kill All Your Friends was a song for whatever reason.

Oh! Thanks! Yeah I thought I'd do something, since they were the band that showed me that music shouldn't always be pretty and pretty much set me in the direction I went in for a long time.
If I could just cover more popular songs maybe people would actually listen to my covers. I always do B-sides and odd tracks :l |

Also to butt in on this, the correct order for the albums is:
Bullets TBP Three Cheers DD CW The way Gerard writes and sings on Bullets is just so honest and pure. |

Cemetery Drive, Drowning Lessons & Kill All Your Friends were some of my favourites, so good choices, haha!
Yeah, I'm currently listening to Bullets, great album. Early Sunsets is an incredible song. There's so much emotion in his voice during it. |
