hey all!

Sorry I haven't been about, just super busy with work and looking at buying a house (very grown up).

Still got the Burny, actually got to play it for an hour the other day!

The EVH is now on eBay getting ready to go.

I never actually played it... Which was a first lol

Hopefully I'll be around a bit more again now though

My buddy builds pedals, he's got a couple small builds. We're going to put a Zvex Wooly Mammoth in the pickguard of a Jazzmaster instead of the rhythm circuit.

We've been in bands together for years. I think pedal-implanted guitars will be our dig.

To be fair, they say money can't buy you happiness.

They've never seen me in a guitar store about to buy something then

Oh nice!

I need a new neck for my bass. Truss Rod is borked and a half.

Can't you just magically poof it back into place or something? Thought you were a wizard with fixing up guitars

I've tried lubricating it and it still wont budge in any direction. I could try replacing the rod, or getting the stew mac repair kit etc... but really it would probably end up costing me more than replacing the neck.

I fix things but only if it's cost effective. It won't be cost effective for me to rip a fretboard out, replace a truss rod, reglue the board and refret/crown/polish.

Might be fun though, I'll probably keep the neck so that I can practice shit like that in the future. But for now, I'll probably just be buying a bass neck from GFS or something.
