Looking to buy a strat copy which won't be too expensive!

It has to:

- Be either HSH or HSS, preferably HSH
- Be good quality

If it had any of this stuff it would be great but it isn't neccessary:

- really thin neck
- locking nut/bridge with fine tuners
-24 frets

This one looks awesome, something like this, very 80's style would be good. it's a Hurricane ltd 2 as played by none other than Jason Becker on the Cacophony CDs and his solo album:

didnt say floyd rose man. I dont care whether it's got a decent floating trem on it, even if it's not a floating trem but it still has the locking nut (and so presumably fine tuners) I would block the trem, I just like the locking nut for the stability.

As for budget, Id be hoping to buy second hand no more than £200

Of those, the Velocity is probably the shreddiest HSS, but it has been discontinued. That linked one is one of the few new ones out there; used ones can be found @$500.

It's HSS, comes with fairly hot pickups and a Sustainer, but only has 22 frets.

There are several Fret-King "Strat" models, but I thought the aesthetics of this one might really appeal to you; only 22 frets, though. It is also not HSS, but P90SS.
