Will this pedal circuit work?
Basically all I want to do is have a pedal with a guitar volume pot in it so that I can drive my single channel amp hard and then get cleans by having a volume pot in a pedal, like rolling down the volume on the guitar. Will this circuit do what I want?

you may want more resistance there, like 300-500 ohms or so. And if the switch poles connects horizontally (instead of vertically) then should work. I would have grounded the 9 volt -ve terminal but im not sure if there is really any benefit to doing so!

Hi, what do you mean by grounding the -ve terminal? and about the resistor, I emailed the place I bought the LED from about the max current, so the value of the resistor may be changed. |
