Left to work with the Giants up 5-0. Oh yeh, they got this one in the bag. Watch them completely fall apart whenever I go to pick up a drink in the bar. Sorrow.

It boggles my mind that Chris Davis is batting .190, yet has more homers than Cespedes.

Really Cespedes is way overhyped. Yeah, he's got a highlight reel throwing arm. Yeah, he's built for the HR derby. But he's only got a .300 OBP and 21 HR. 21 HR is good, but it's not amazing.

Giants have 4 errors and a balk by the 4th inning. Back to little league with you!

Touché. Still, you expect someone batting .190 isn't going to be top 20 in homers

It saddens me that the league's understandable raging Troutboner will prevent Jonesy from getting the recognition he deserves amongst AL centerfielders.

True. But a guy a strong as Davis has got a pretty good chance of going yard on almost anything he comes into contact with

That's an amazing play. I wonder what the runner was doing as Jones caught the ball. Must have tried to tag super late, but still a great play.

Some of the worst baseball I've seen all year tonight from the Giants and the worst home plate umpiring I've seen this year as well. Giants commit 4 errors on the night, including 2 throwing errors on consecutive plays by Brandon Crawford. Dude is hitting under .230, leads the majors in errors at SS after tonight's game, and doesn't hit for power. Total bust. Peavy pitches 7 innings, allowing only 1 ER and gets tagged with the loss.

Umpiring was atrocious. Horribly inconsistent strike zone, missed call at the plate, and the umpire calling the game with his emotions after Peavy chewed him out for missing calls.

Complete game 1 hit shutout with 13 Ks. 1 hit away from a perfect game.

I won't lie. I was a bit watery eyed when he gave that hit up.

But 13 k's, 1 hit, a complete game. And Buster Posey with 2 bombs.

This might be something the G-men seriously needed.

I saw Morneau reach out and make contact and I knew that was it. What a pitching performance though. Really excited for Petit's start on Thursday. He's I think 8 battters away from breaking the major league record for consecutive batters retired.
