Rockerverb mk1 50w combo vs. Rockerverb mkii 50 watt combo

I'm trying to decide whether or not to get a Rockerverb mk1 or mk-ii. I haven't gotten a chance to play either yet, but looking online at used ones the mk1 looks much more appealing based on price. I would most likely get the 2x12 combo version.

Any thoughts?

Derek (MatrixClaw) prefers the original, which BTW are excellent Bang for the $$$. I prefer the MKII; but, the bottom line is whatever works best for you. If you're patient, you can snag an MKII for about the same price as the first version usually sells.

Thanks haha, I'll have to keep my eyes open for one. Also, probably should've asked this first, would you recommend the 50w combo for either one as opposed to the 50w head with an orange 2x12 cab?
