Just a thought to bolster the "inexpensive" guitar comment. Although it wasn't an acoustic guitar, Jimmy Page made wonderful music with a Sears and Roebuck Danelectro guitar. Robert Johnson played, what was at at the time, one of the cheap guitars of the era.

Myth : Acoustic is harder to play than electric.
Truth : Playing acoustic just requires more finger strength than playing electric.... which makes it harder. XD |
