If I was to tell you the current line up of Drudkh had a death metal side project, and that it sounded like Hate Forest crossed with Bolt Thrower with a bit of Dismember thrown in, would that excite you?

This is great!
Especially liking the production, good blend of heavy and clarity. Do you know if it's been pressed on vinyl? I reckon it would sound fantastic.

As far as I'm aware it's CD only, but I reckon it's only a matter of time.
I'm surprised how low a profile they've managed to keep given who it is and how popular Drudkh are. |

I only own Autumn Aurora and Blood In Our Wells as far as Drudkh goes and I have not really kept up with their news. Last I remember their lineup was a mystery, when did this change?
As for Rattenfänger, can't say it's the type of Death that rattles my ass. About a minute into that first song it felt like clean vocals were going to pop up, don't ask me why. Some groovy moments though, love the bass. Wasn't expecting much though since I'm not really a Hate Forest guy as well.

My copy of Autumn Aurora and Blood In Our Wells don't have a lineup listed and I remember checking for info online and there was none to be found. Metal Archives even had something stating to that effect. Ah well.

Maybe it was part of the deal with Seasons of Mist?
I know there was never any official photo's or interviews, I didn't realise it stretched as far as an anonymous line up. Metal archives has the line up for every album now. |
