tension on the neck

Hello, so i had a question about my guitar, i haven't used it in a really long time ('cause i've bought others) and i wanted to play some stuff with it, But it didn't have strings for about a year. So my question is: would it cause tension on the neck and make it bend if I decided to put string on it ?

thanks for the answers !

As long as you don't put excessively heavy strings on it should be fine. Check the neck for any sigh of warp or disformation first, though. Just follow the standard procedure and setup. Restring and neck relief check etc...
