S-Gear is a Winner!
I've retired amplitube, Guitar Rig, etc since purchasing S-Gear. I actually bought an 11Rig w/ PT10 but I swear S-Gear sounds better.

S-Gear does look very nice. Have you tried the Kuassa sims?
It's a real shame that Fractal Axe-PC disappeared under the rug, that would have been unbeatable. |

Yeah - I bought Creme and Vermillion. They're both top notch but after trying the demo of S-Gear I bought it too. S-Gear sounds beautiful and actually very analog sounding. Worth way more than they charge for it.

Yeah I briefly tried S-Gear, sounds great for crunchy stuff but is probably a little limited for the average online metalhead.

It wouldn't have been a very good move on their part. No one's going to pay more than a few hundred dollars for an amp sim on their computer, so they would've had to sell it at a very low price point. At that point, they wouldn't be making as big of a profit margin they are now, nor would they be able to hype it as much, as there would be no supply and demand to drive the market. Not only that, but you'd have every software programmer and their mother buying the software, reverse engineering it and then releasing their own "improved" versions to undercut Fractal. Dumb business model, indeed.
