Hiya guys

My query is in relation to the slave output. I realised I could take my signal fron the slave output into my bass amp so I could control my sound at 11pm bedroom volumes (I only have a 4x12 so cant really play with that at home). I understand that when using speaker output A then I must have the supplied shorts plug in output B, so if I am using the slave output then do I need any shorts plugs in speaker outputs A and B to stop the risk of transformer damage?

Here is my Dual Rec Roadster 2X12 Combo, I grabbed it last year at tax time from Guitar Center who, from what I hear, lost their license to be a MESA dealer, not sure if it's true but that's what the guy from Sam Ash told me , the guy at GC did say they did not carry MESA anymore and I got the amp on clearance for $1000 new with original warranty, list was like $2499.

The only catch was they did not have the footswitch, I keep meaning to order one but every time I go to do it I find a guitar to buy!

Anyway I only play in my jam room if I was gigging I would have it already, I'll get one here in a month or so!

Nice grab!

I spammed the various threads when GC closed out the MBs. New Royal Atlantic or Dual Rec for 1100, RoadKing II for 1500, etc.

Apparently I missed this. Would've bought a RK for that much... Oh wellz.

Interesting, though... Last time I went into the Tempe Guitar Center, sometime around the summer, there were still quite a few new Mesas around, at regular price. Hmm...

Hmmm I'd check into that, I got mine last February, they only had two of the Roadster combos no footswitch with either, at least mine still had the removable casters the salesman said he would try to find the FS in that back room but I called back three times and he said he could locate it, oh well I can get an FS and cable form MESA for $250 brining my total to $1250 still half price

I actually went in to grab a Jackson USA soloist used for $999 only to find the infamous Jackson USA clear coat lifting over the logo on the headstock which is a deal breaker for me.

I had purchased a 6505+ head a year prior and a used 4X12 that I loaded with some Eminence Swamp Thang an Texas Heat speakers and wasn't even looking to buy an amp, then I saw the Roadster, saw the price, took a double take then walked out with it, the 6505+ is collecting dust now, I keep it around because it's basically new and though I got it scratch and dent through AMS ($899) I know if I tried to sell it I'd take a bath.

The Mesa is absolutely killer! Best amp I've ever owned and I have been playing since the early 80's, it sounds even better through the 4X12!

My *almost* finished WDW rack.

Triaxis + 2:90 + G-Major 2 for the wet, stereo cleans and leads (through the two 4x12s) and my Ractifier as my main dry, heavy rhythm (into the 2x12).

Just need a RJM Y-Not aby amp splitter and voltage regulator and I'm set with my rig (for now lol)
