I would definitely be freaking out and frantically searching for a way to prevent death in an hour. I would probably be ranting about how weak and useless the human body is, telling people to make sure they're replaced with flexible titanium prosthetics when technology reaches that point. I may even do something insane towards the end of the hour, like break my fingers off to demonstrate the weakness of the body. Thus, at the moment of death I would be on the ground pain-screaming. /fear-wuss

Seriously if you try to claw something in defense even with sharpened nails, the animal will hop over a foot and your entire nail will break off in what you thought was a subcutaneous skin layer, but turned out to be some kind of thick rhino wart barnacle made of rubber-leather. And while considering all of this, the creature has already killed you five (5) times!
