I think Hearts might be my first actual save. will probably start with PSG or Barca just to see what's changed though

I'm having a ton of fun with Hearts so far, but I am partially using them since that's where all of my football knowledge is to test out the new features.

The game is at least realistic this year though.

Just bought fifa and I'm not made of money so the new fm has to take a back seat. Going to continue my United dominance a mere one season in. Bringing in these young players who are bang average and having them replicate the form of my 20-30m players is very welcome news. My academy is literally full of them too. Three seasons time my team will be completely unstoppable

I'm liking being able to pick more than one "favourite team"

Obviously I've picked United, Barca, Bayern and Juventus.

I really want FIFA15 but so much money. Maybe it's what I should spend that tax rebate cheque for.

FIFA 15 is absolute shite. At best it's at the same level as FIFA 14 (personally I think it's worse). Also if it's not PS4 or XBox One it will not look or play any better.

It's like every fifa, better in some aspects and worse in others. The new impact engine means I've had far too many complete bullshit penalties given against me. Dribbling / skills is way more fun. Shooting is harder. Passing is better. Defending is different.

Is the fm beta worth a go with all / any of its glitches? Do they update the beta or is it just the one build?

They do updates throughout the beta, there's threads on the SI forums where people point out the bugs.

The only big ones I've seen so far is that there's way more lapses in concentration from your defence & keepers than there should be (some daft goals have gone on in my save), there's also been a lot of goals which is either due to my tactics or a regular bug.

Not noticed anything too severe though, there's a couple of UI things that need tweaked but it's perfectly playable.

[Minor thing] I dislike how they've changed creativity to vision and in doing so split up team work and work rate on the attribute screen

[Major thing] Not liking the new tactics screen lay-out. At all.

Anyway, gone as Aberdeen (because I neglected them in FM13 and FM14) and begun my career with an 11-0 Europa League win over some Gibraltar losers.

edit: big moves already. Mahamadou Diarra will be enjoying the weather in Aberdeen this season

I really like the new tactics layout myself.

Looked confusing on the release video but I've taken to it really quickly and quite like being able to just get a wee menu up of all the players who can play in that position.

I'll probably get used to it. Trying to free up enough wages to bring Pablo Aimar in. Not going to happen unless I dump a key player though

Can't believe Stewart Milne doesn't share my ambition

edit: SIGNED HIM ANYWAY

Testing out classic and went Arsenal because they have money and things.

Is this realism or too many goals.

Finished 4th with Arsenal and won the FA Cup and I had long periods where numerous players were out injured, mostly from international breaks.

So if anyone was wondering about realism in FM15...

Was playing a bit earlier on. Won 2-1 at Celtic Park to IGNITE MY TITLE CHALLENGE (was 7 points clear, still early in the season). Then next game, at home to Ross County, threw away a 4 goal lead to draw 4-4

Fines were dished out to many, and Clark Robertson paid the ultimate price. RIP.
