What to look for on a 68 Gibson SG
Hello,
I'm about to purchase a 1968 Gibson SG from someone. I've only got one picture so far but what should I look out for? I know about checking the electronics to see if they are original joints and what not. But what else should I make sure are inorder on such a old guitar? I can't find to much info on what the original knobs should look like.  |

maybe general wear on the metal bits, notably the pickups and machine heads.
edit: in that picture does the guitar have P90's? i just googled some pics using the search term "1968 gibson SG P90" and there's literally 2 or 3 with P90's but they have trem's...

It's alright, I wouldn't doubt it if it was real.
