Just plugged in the green muff clone i made a while back (while i fixed one issue, i've had another one with it where there seems to be a delay between engaging the pedal, and the fuzz kicking in. kind of like there is no power in the board until you switch it on, so i might need to rewire it again.... not sure what I have done...) and remembered why i really liked the tone of them. Compared it to a black Sovtek muff and the Hyperion clone and yeah, green wins this round haha

The big ones are too impractical for a gigging board, and also tone suck is an issue, so i better either fix my clone or build a nice new one (might do it anyways) to get one back in my rig asap

You will like the Pentavocal. Lots of fiddly knobs to play with!

The fuzz god is really cool. And has a very controllable/interactive oscillation mode

See, I'm looking at the Eve because I just want a nice simple tremolo for copping old Creedence and country-rock riffs. Not very post-rock I know...

I miss my Pentavocal. Chad from La Dispute is building me a trem though.

Red Witch stuff is neat, but the Titan is pretty weak.

West, you do want a Musket.

I'm so ****ing torn on reverb at the moment it's killing me. I was between the Cadavernous, Descent, and WET.
I don't want the WET. But I think I want the Red Panda Context reverb...
Reverb sucks. Ugh.

The context don't have trails i don't think if that helps narrow it down any.

ill never sell my wet. Awesome, works in every context, simples.
i do want an industrial electric reverb machine though. Od/boost/spastic fuzz/gritty trails/drone machine/reverb in one

Well fortunately I live in the Detroit area. I'm setting up an appointment to go to Red Panda Labs and try out their gear. Then I'm gonna write a long review about the experience on my blog. So we'll see.

I prefer my big muff to my hyperion 66% of the time but they hyperion cuts through way better so its more usable to me. I still want a VFM and a legend of fuzz.

I remember using the green muff clone at practices a while back and I ended up drowning out the bass whenever I played rhythm with it haha

Haven't tried the Hyperion in a live context really. Tended just to go straight to the ole dependable Rat clone with Canidae.

Reverb sucks. Ugh.

This was me. Then I bought the Big Sky. Now I have no right to have such dilemmas.
