Put it in my Ibanez FR swapping out the stock CCR bridge.

I must say, extremely underwhelmed. I can definitely hear a difference, especially doing some palm muted riffs and stuff. But it just doesn't clean up well and it doesn't blend with my style, and it wasn't necessarily a giant ground breaking difference from the CCR.

On topic, yes the C-7 is a great guitar.

The Aftermath isn't really my favorite BKP ever. It works for certain things very well but it's kind of a one trick pony. As far as it cleaning up - LOL. That thing has a lot of output and doesn't clean up well at all. Even the silly hot Warpig cleans up better.

Yup, sold it and put the stock CCR back in, much better. Bought myself a Decimator with the spare cash.

I used to have a Ceramic Warpig in an Ibanez RG. Awesome pickup for all things metal, cleaned up real nice as well.

I'm thinking on getting some Warpigs for my RG1527 to replace the CL/PAF7 in it now.

Do any of you remember the Schecter Revenger 7 from the late '90's?

If I didn't have the RoadKing II, would've snagged it for that nice price.

I was a small child in the late 90s, so no I don't :P

Also, stupid deal, but I don't like Mesas.

^I was an even smaller child, but I own, one, so I guess I remember it. For how old they are, and how massive the heel is, it's actually a very comfortable guitar. Is that one yours by any chance ippon?

For similar reasons I don't really remember them in the strictest sense of the term... but I knew they were a thing

Well. I've just pulled the trigger on a Laney Ironheart Studio.

Here's hoping Sam Bell/Fred Brum didn't lead me astray.

Also, I might as well show my guitar as I haven't uploaded a picture of it before. It's a modded LTD M-307.

Modifications include:
  • A full body and neck sanding and oiling
  • Replacement tuners of the locking variety
  • A string retainer bar (purely for aesthetics)
  • A faux inlay for the 12th fret with my name on it (as I happen to be a vain bastard)
  • The almighty DiMarzio Crunch Lab 7 and Liquifire 7 combo with pickup mounting rings
It plays like butter but is currently running through a crappy 10 watt practice amplifier as I had a bad run financially and had to sell EVERYTHING.

Also, I love your album Zaphod; I had it on repeat for a few months. The guitar solo in 'Sanctuary' is epic.

Hey I bought the C-7, I'm very pleased with it. It plays and sounds great and everything works properly haha
Only complaint is that accessing the 24th fret with my small hand is almost impossible

Here it is:

Thanks, I spent quite a lot of money/effort on it. Glad to see it's appreciated. Pity I haven't heard it's true glory before now, aside from the 6505 I ran it through that the previous owner had but he had the EMGs in it at the time.

Trying to settle on my next guitar I will be getting very soon. Good problem to have, but still annoying.

RG652 (Cobalt Blue, Galaxy Black, or the more expensive Koa Brown) for D Standard and Drop C. I don't know anything about the pickups. Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge. This would be used for bands like Gojira, Daath, Insomnium, maybe some Ghost for something a little more relaxing. And ****ing Mastodon.

RG752 (Sub Purple) for ADADGBE. Same thing as above, but a Dimarzio PAF. For Stam1na and more Stam1na.

SCT-607B for B standard and Drop A. This seems to be $100 cheaper now. There are other baritones, but I like this one more. Bloodbath/At The Gates. Maybe Amon Amarth.

Sad though the amp situation may be, at least that's a hell of a guitar you have there! Loving the look now that it's down to the wood

Perfectly fine. The liner notes calling me cheap was a bit low though.
