Which book to choose?

Hello guys.
I want to buy one of these books
Hal Leonard-Chord Progressions for guitar
OR
Chord Tone Soloing: A Guitarist's Guide to Melodic Improvising in Any Style
Does anyone know which is better and what is the difference between them?

My first impression just by looking at the titles is that the first one is going to be mostly rhythm playing, while the second will be more about lead. Pick whichever one you feel you need to improve on.

I don't know about those books, but I can tell you that some books that are worth your money and time are Troy Stetina's fretboard mastery, and his other book, speed mechanics for lead guitar.
