[GP5.2] C4C Metalcore Song
Not quite sure how to really categorize this tab, but I'd probably say metalcore. Any criticism/suggestions or praise (mainly praise!) would be appreciated.

The synths dont work with any of your riffs, so leave them out for now.
The sudden key/scale swap at bar 32 doesn't work either. 16-18 the riffs are alright, if too diatonically simple, but the underlying chords dont work at all. Bar 43-47 I like the idea, but it resolves too quickly. Try this order: 43, 44, 45, 47, 43, 44, 45, 46. Aisde that its metalcore, so inb4 people saying epi's a douche, inb4 omgus, inb4 me.

Alright cool thanks man, glad some of the stuff I have in there is decent.
I can see how that one part at 32 doesn't work, can definitely try to re-work that, but when you say the chords in 16-18 are not good... what would you suggest for that? |

I think there are some good riff scattering around the song....but, overall, it's a pretty decent ideas of metalcore song...
for the bar 18, i think you don't need to use 5/4 time signature...try to change it to 4/4 and use D and E chord in half note for each chord. And then change the riff to match the 4/4 time signature... (check out the attachment) bar 42 - 47 is a pretty good part, I like it... C4C? http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1577897

Added some harmonic corrections, a riff variation here and there to make it sound more melodic, also changed the underlying chords for 16-18.
