Cheers, I do like your Speedmaster, I was looking at them for quite a while but the Sporty came up in a private sale for a really good price. My Dads looking at getting a Speedmaster now actually, they're nice bikes.

I recently upgraded from a Honda VTR250 to a Honda CBR500. It's quite excellent but sounds like a sewing machine at low revs. Sounds great when you wind it out though. Looking to replace the entire exhaust system with a Yoshiumura R77 (from memory) in the next few weeks, after Christmas some time.

I need to figure out where the **** all these pipes n shit go, if I even need them, and how to put on a new headlight.

At least you pulled the engine. I'm just gonna say **** it "31,000 miles isn't that much"

Depends. If it's anything like my bike and has been around for 40+ years then yes, you will need to tear it down and replace some critical rubbery bits. If it's a dirt bike then maybe you should think about doing some cleanup and gasket inspections. If it is a modern road bike then 31k miles should be a nice point where it has just broken in.

Why do you need to remove the lights?

It's an 1989 FZR600 that I always re-modify because I have no life

I want a more streetfighter look as the FZR didn't age well. Something along these lines.
