So i take the new one from the first slot and swap it with tube in the second slot, try the amp, then keep swapping the new one with others and trying if it helps ? By the way, the amp does not squeal when the guitar volume is down.

Yeah, try that.

Is the guitar new to you and is this a new issue since you got it? You could have a bad ground connection in the guitar.

Do you have another guitar you can try with your amp?

As I said, I tried different guitar with different cables and the problem remained the same. The problem started somewhen when the tube went microphonic. And i dont know anything about ground connection, so Im gonna check it out.

Well I found out , that a new replaced JJ power tube seems not to hold strong enough in the socket. I have no clue how to fix that. It seems to be loosened a bit, bur ita cant be pushed further. What can I do about it ? Because it seems like this is the problem, because when I replaced it with another power tube, the squealing changed a bit. Thanks .

Hi there i am new here and i need some advise about bugera v55.
I like the clean sound from this amp and gain channel to but i have one problome
I know this is not a 5150 amp but i still am looking for advice
when playing solos on the gain channel ( gain cranked up to 10) it sounds good,
and damped single note rithm fine to, but when playing deep fifths with added eights
then its like the amp is suffocating
I tried using the clean channel just using a overdrive pedal an the amp acts the same.
any advise is helpfull.
I know this is not a heavy rock amp and i am not buying 100w stack to play at my home
Thanks

Well Musicians friend had a blowout sale on Bugera amps. So i brought a 6262 and a 1990 classic so both amps aren't Infinium. right around $560 with 2 year warranty from Musicians friend.

Now for the questions. First off did they ever fix the plastic clip problem? From what I have read its seems to be a toss up on that. I'm not overly worried about it as this problem can be found in a lot more amps then most would realize.

Now for the big question I know the tubes these amps come with are questionable at best. I can't seem find who makes those tube for them. So I will re-tube both amps. The 6262 I will most likely go with a full set of JJ's.

The 1990 has 5581's which are a 6l6 from my understanding but with less headroom. So what would i gain or lose if I used a 6l6? If i stick with 5881's is there a brand that everyone has had good luck with? or would it be with it to go to EL34's

I'm not a Bugera fan, because of the issues I faced, but for that price for 2 amps, I'd have to take a chance.

Seriously. $250 for a 6262 is an amazing deal. Even if it des break down, there are tutorials all over to fix it. I still may have to order one myself. Im quite tempted. But yea, I have an art usb dual tube pre and i feel like the DAC could be much much better

My brother in law builds amps. My DSL fried because of the rectifier issue pre2003 had and he called me the same nite (at a Strung Out concert) to tell me he needed $80 for fixing my amp and throwing a new quad of SED el34 in it. He is the only reason I kept my 333 for 4 years
