Interesting version, very different. I dig it! You could play this song so many different ways its crazy. My band also covered this song recently live. Check it out man: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1608861

Good rockin version.

Can't pick out anything bad about that at all.

Now you just need a time machine to 1956 to release it before Johnny did.

This a pretty cool version - very different, great vocals and some awesome bluesy solos. I've actually heard of your band from when I was trying to find some slide guitar music to learn and someone tipped me off on your track Dirty Girl Blues - great work!

Great version of this song. I love the guitar tone on the solos. Very well done, I assume its a studio recording?

Thanks caw1. Yes we tracked everything live in a pretty cool studio in London called Cowshed. I use a Setzer Nashville Gretsch and ran through a Jameson and Fender showman for the solos, was pretty pleased with the sound. Also recorded a cover of the Elvis track ‘That’s alright Mama’ that you may like to check out with a similar set up http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...83#post31719683

I would probs have spent more time on getting a stronger verse tone in hindsight. Was one of the first things we did a month or so after the band had formed so not a bad result all things considered!

And if you have a spare 5-10 mins would love to know your thoughts on some original material we recently released on a small Indie (spent a bit longer recording and mixing these!). Cheers :-)
