I think I could play Say Goodnight 90% to how BFMV play it in a few weeks.

It would be nice to be able to play 90% of the song how the artist plays it.

It's kind of funny how you've been talking about BFMV all this time, then bring up Dime, and the first thing that comes to my mind is "Ten Years Today."

Their rhythm parts aren't too hard.

And right there is your problem. With that sort of attitude you'll never get anywhere. There is always going to be someone better than you. That doesn't mean you give up, it means you work harder. Everyone starts somewhere, what if the members of BFMV had said, "well other people are better better musicians so we should just give up"? Play music because you like it, because it's fun, because you have a passion for it, not so that you can be an exact replica of someone else.

Thanks. I can now play most of BFMV's say goodnight (not to the record). I've improved a lot.

How long do I need to be playing Pantera?

Also what's the best way to learn songs? Tabs, by ear or YouTube videos?

Thanks.

Here we go again. By asking that question again you've basically shown you haven't listened to a word which has been said on this post.

Hmm... it kills my confidence listening to the record. I know I've said this before... why is this happening?

I don't know many songs from them, but Your Betrayal is easy to play. Easier than Scream Aim Fire tbh
