I'm pretty dead set on getting it. I love the color/racing stripes.. really just about everything about it. My point of the thread was to see if there were any upgrades I can do to bring it up to par with it's Gibson brother. Then again, I might pick one up and think it doesn't need anything.


You can always upgrade the hardware with better stuff (new bridge, tail piece, nut, tuners, jack etc) but the guitar will be pretty solid stock. It's a good guitar, if it feels good to you then enjoy!

I owned one of the Tom Delonges and I wish I still had. It was the Epi version and I also had an Epi Dot. Both played and felt great. Honestly, I tried the Gibson Tom Delonge and liked the Epi better. Sound, side by side they were the same. But about a $2k difference!
