Only thing I'd add is spray some contact cleaner on your new tube's pins and insert them a few times to ensure they seat well. You may find AT7 or other alternates suit you better in V1 than the AX7 but there are other threads that discuss the several possible combos and their results. Good luck and please post your results when finished modding. I'd like to see how it turns out.

Thanks again. I will def post a few pics when im done but it prob wont be til next summer as im going abroad for a few months, actually looking forward to getting home and trying this project
