I play at all sorts of levels for them too, which is nice. We've got a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th team and I play for all but the 1sts. 2nds and 3rds play quite loose, fast paced rugby while the 5ths (basically a vets team but they usually nab a few players from the other teams, and my dad plays for them so I get quite a few games) play a much slower and more methodical game so it's fun to get a wide variety of games in.

Ah right, I assumed you were native to the Netherlands and I was wondering where you picked up an interest in rugby, but that makes sense. We could probably make a decent pack out of UGers at this rate.

I was raised in Northampton and had a Saints season ticket for 8 or 9 years I might change my location, actually.

Your opinion in this thread holds more weight if you have Northampton as your location

On the plus side, just got home from a 36-31 win over our local rivals, and we scored the winning try in overtime. Happy days.

George North's agent is saying he'll be signing for the Saints soon, this pleases me.

I'm off down to Allianz Park for Saints vs Sarries on Sunday. Should be fun.

All Blacks teach France a lesson!!!

The French were relieved when the final whistle went. They were hammering away 5m from the try line hot on attack. Usually that would be a good thing but the last two times that happened in this game New Zealand scored some amazing tries.

I'm not really into rugby but that was a really spectacular match.

30-0 to the ABs.

Found it funny when Carter played waterboy but apparently his injury is really bad, yeah?
Also when the french guy started on Nonu. What an idiot, trying to start up with an absolute tank of an islander?

Second try was really good, and I think that a couple of older ABs need to go and make way for excellent new talent like displayed on the third try. Excellent defense throughout.

Yeah I watched it with my mother and brother. We had a big debate afterwards in regard to letting some of the older guys go. Carter, Smith, Nonu, McCaw, Mealamu and four other current all blacks are all over 30 two or three others at 29. Despite being great players the cold hard fact is they are past their physical prime. I just hope that Steve Hansen has the balls to drop some of them in favour of younger in form players before it's too late.

I think the time is now. Blood some new guys now so they are hardened with experience for the world cup defence in 2015. Some big calls but it's got to be done.

And yeah it was funny to see Carter as waterboy. About six weeks ago Conrad Smith got knocked out cold. He played waterboy for the Hurricanes in the following two games - it was really funny.

I haven't watched Carter much recently either but Cruden and maybe Dagg (to a lesser extent, also had a good boot so idk) could be filled.
Really eager to see Read. Absolute powerhouse.

I know this is kind of silly but I really enjoyed the haka this time - not surr when they changed it but it was funny seeing the same one as when I was in like, year3 when carlos spencer and howlett did it #feels
