I like Bagboy, I think it's a good listen and it's still got that Pixies sense of humour/weirdness.

I think EP1 sucks. I know it's been many years etc, but it's totally different from their other albums... pluss it's just not the same without Kim. What do you think?
PS. why is this thread dying? It makes me sad, really.

I enjoyed reading this thread. Pixies are one of the best bands out there.

Maybe if you like guys named Paul with big, black 8===D

Haha just kidding...

Question for everybody: What lasting impact did each of the Pixies' albums have? Why are Surfer Rosa & Doolittle significant in this particular culture? And beyond that???

The Pixies are so great. Two singles that I like by them are "The Holiday Song" and "Where is my Mind?"

Huge Pixies fan, just got back into them and have been listening to the entire catalogue again. Such a great and unique band, from subject matter to musicality.

Favourite songs would probably be Monkey Gone To Heaven, Is She Weird, Velouria, Hey, and Ana at the moment.

See I don't know if its generic or just the plain old fact that -- there is no way possible you can ever recapture the magic of what they did.

I found EP 2 to be a lot better but neither is close to their earlier stuff.

I saw them in october last year in Copenhagen, Denmark. Was great.

Did not suffer from them playing a few of their new songs, it was alright but the old ones are just still amazing to hear really.
