Took me several repeated listens to get into Summoning but it was definitely worth it. Now it makes me want to watch LotR every time.

Why watch the action movie when you can read the actual books?

Thanatos - Realm of Ecstasy

This shit is up on Spotify these days, that was a pleasant surprise. This album sounds much better than I dared remember. I guess my memory on it might be a bit skewed when it's based on shit quality youtube uploads from way back when.

I saw the video for that song a few days ago. Not that arsed about the band - it's basically just more Municipal Waste - but the video gave me a good laugh.

I like Winterfylleth. I always get them mixed up with Wodensthrone though. Like always. I don't think I'll ever know the difference.

I do exactly the same thing with Winterfylleth/Wodensthrone. Two fairly recent English black metal bands with names beginning with W is far too much for my feeble mind to comprehend.

Also, holy shit, never heard Vegas Martyrs before, and that sounded awesome. You know, in that I just got my skull caved in against the pavement by all the hatred and drums sort of way. Gonna have to check them out.

^Classic song.

I was listening to this album earlier.

Also, holy Beelzebub Severed, that song was the Bee's knees.

Yo welcome. Keepin it fresh with some ATG, it sounds better than I remember it. I might revisit ATG sometime this year. Who knows. I gave them a chance many times before, but they never made me feel like a million bucks.

Yep, some of the same members.
Lyrics are kind of corny but I really like the guitars and drums.

Disconnected- In Flames
