Which guitar amp would be best for me?
I've been playing guitar for about a year, and I want another amp to replace my Vox Mini 3. I play songs from Pink Floyd, Santana, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and the Who. I'm broke and I need a amp that is 400 or less. So what amp would be best for me?

If you're not looking to gig and just want a better sounding small amp, try a Vox AC4. Add a Fuzz Face and you're set for all those tones. You pretty much need a fuzz (and you need to run it in front of an already slightly dirty amp) to get anything resembling a Hendrix or Gilmour lead tone.

Save up some more and go used. Get an amp with a good clean channel and overdrive channel. But the first thing you need to do is go to guitar center and sam ash and all of the music stores in your area. Try out a ton of amps and choose a good tube amp. Good luck!!!
