id say the yamaha, i had a pretty good experience with my yamaha electric and it was only a 112, you can always go and change stuff around in it to make it sound better, but that all depends on what style of music you play.

I would go for a Fender, because even if you won't like the Fender, you can still resell it for the same price you bought it and it would be easier to sell. I don't see lot's of Yamaha's getting sold, neither there's a big demand. (in my country though)
