You need to reconsider your time signature, enough said. If you insist your Riff/beat is in 4/4 try inserting time signatures changes after the first 4 beats, or whatever the case may be.

Ok, I have an annoying problem
When I have guitar pro open, I can't watch a youtube video. The video plays, but there is no sound. I have to close GP to listen to the youtube vid. Annoying when I'm trying to tab something from youtube and have to keep ****ing closing and opening GP to write it down. It's now started happening with iTunes. Like now, I'm trying to tab a song I have, but with GP open, the songs on iTunes will not play. I have to shut GP to listen to the song on iTunes. Any ideas? So frustrating EDIT: I have Guitar Pro 5 (5.0 (11/16/2005))

Used to happen to me, what's your OS? Guitar Pro is essentially taking over the main stereo bus of your computer. You might be able to figure stuff out in your Audio settings, might not.

I'm not familiar with Vista so I can't really help you out. Maybe try experimenting with which program you open first. iTunes before GP5, then vice versa. See if that has any effect. Also in GP5 try setting your output (Under RSE Settings) to Core Audio if it's not already.

Hey you replied to my post on here.

I am looking at a bleed guitar pro tab from and the drumbeat is written in 4/4 but doesn't repeat until 2 of the next measure. It takes him 8 bars to finish the beat and begin repetition. When I play the drumbeat and count in 4/4 I use crashes on the 1 of each measure, so the crash is in a different spot each time I play the beat, until 5 measures have past then it resolves back to the start of my beat. I was just wondering if there is a way to copy what i have and paste it in so ican keep pasting it until it resolves. |

I downloaded Guitar Pro tabs archive from Deposit files ( there was about 50 000 songs). Glad to help you. Here's the link: http://depositfiles.com/folders/982NR79IC

Hey guys,
Sorry if this question is already somewhere in this thread, but I need some help with GP6. It's not by choice really but there are a lot of songs on here that I really want to learn that are .gpx files, so I've decided to bit the bullet and pay £40 for the full version of GP6. I downloaded a couple of .gpx tabs, but when they're playing, the notes that are meant to be bends or whatever aren't playing! They're just playing the note as it is! Obviously, I'm a little bit miffed at paying for this only for it to not be working as it should be. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks ![]()

Hi guys,
I had something odd happen today, I sent a Guitar Pro 5 tab I am working on (soon to be submitted)it to someone else to fine tune and its come back with the percussion drum track, as an instruments track on channel 10? If I clicked on the channel GP5.2 crashed... So he resent it as GP4 and its appearing normally, I've resaved the gp4 as gp5 and its fine. Any idea why this would happen? Thanks Emm |

All the tabs I find for Eruption that are Guitar Pro freeze almost instantly. Also IRS by Guns N' Roses freezes somewhere in the middle and the Guitar Pro tab for Breakdown by Guns N Roses inexplicably slows down for some reason. Help?

Hi,
I tab in GP6 but have a question about GP5 and midi Is there a limit to different sounds? I have 20-track tabs and I want to make them sound good in GP5 and MIDI. What happens is that when I try to change the sound effect of an instrument, several other instruments get that same sound too. I try to set the synth to whatever synth string, and then one of my guitar tracks gets that too. This happens automatically And if I set back my guitar to distortion guitar, the synth and even flute is distortion guitar...anyone know what I'm talking about and whether there's a way around this? Thanks for any reply |

I'm trying to get used to Guitar Pro for the more complicated tabs I've started doing and someone requested "lalala" by Sungha Jung so I thought I'd try that. However the songs...slightly strange rhythm has been making it really difficult. I'm pretty sure the notes are right and it sounds good by itself but horribly out of time with the metronome, what am I doing wrong? I'm sure it's just 4/4...
you can download the first couple bars here...hopefully someone can help me out and get me properly started on this. http://www.mediafire.com/?camreooooqux35x Thanks |

The main thing to note here in the rhythm is that the first note / slide is before the beat. When you understand his rhythm it will be a much easier tab. Yes 4/4 works fine but from brief listening, it sounds like there are time signature changes later in the song. I think your notes are good for start. I hammered out some bars to show what's going on (they won't be super accurate just shows the rhythm) |
