Some trouble with Vintage V100

Hello. Recently I'm having some trouble with my guitar. The raw sound is overdriven, so I can't play clean. It happened when the volume pot was on full(EMG 81/85, high output), but when turned at 5, it sounded brilliant! What may cause this trouble?

It's not the software issue, tried on the amp too. And the input level in Audacity wasn't even close to 0dB!

Having to roll back the volume with guitars equipped with those types of pickups to get a cleaner sound is common.

iv been wanting one of these guitars for a while. why did you swap the pickups out? were the wilkis bad?
