Introducing LakeBox, a Canadian based trip-hop group
From ancient times, lakes have symbolized the peaceful, philosophical aspect of life where one would go to escape from reality of the world. Water is an element that alludes to the connection of the external and also the profound, hence a fluid mass of transparency, the transition between life and death, between the solid and the gaseous, and between the formal and informal.
Lakebox started as a musical project which is itself shaped and influenced by personal experiences, philosophies, lessons out of the dualistic nature of life itself. Right next to the Lake Ontario in Toronto, Canada, in a box shaped studio room, the music has been created by smiliar and yet different minds reflecting on the personal lessons and experiences, with the intention of evoking both brighter and darker emotions in anyone who might enjoy the work and will be able to relate to the stories of the sounds in their own independent and individual ways.
