not that i've found.

i've looked pretty hard.

the best value gibby i had was my 2003 standard. both bought and sold that guitar for ~$1500 ish.

but that tokai stands toe to toe with it, and it was $800. $1000 after shipping and taxes.

i bought, shipped and received all three of those for less than i sold my R0 for.

the only one of the three i put any money into after receiving it was the tokai, pups/elecs/ss frets. none of that was "needed" but we all like things the way we like them right?

No arguments from me about Bang for the $$$. My favorites are MIJs: Burny SG, Fender '62RI Strat, Edwards LP, ESP Stef B7.

Same. I don't get why people like such bright red. Those super-faded 59 style bursts are the sex. And browns. lemon drop. Iced Tea. Honey Burst...

Pretty much anything but bright cherry
