Descending economy picking and arm tension?

youtube(DOT)com/watch?v=gf6JE-c4vrk

I have lots of tension when descending and i'm pretty sure it's my right arm. should my arm move up higher when i'm descending towards the e and a string? when i'm on higher strings it's not as bad but starts getting worse/i play slower toward the g string. you'll see the tension in my arm in video

How can I fix this?
Inb4 sticky, google it, etc.
I've searched.

Your whole hand should move up I think, yeah it feels better lower to me too. I'm sorta in the same boat when I do it on those strings too

i notice when i'm ascending my hand stays anchored and the angle of my wrist changes, but i'm 99% sure this is fine for ascending. descending is weird but the same principle might work if you start with a different hand position.

moving the arm would help though too. i'll check on more videos. thanks
